Martha Llanos, citizen of Peru and Peace activist, has devoted her life towards the fulfillment of children, women and indigenous people’s rights. She has taken worldwide leadership in the area of early childhood and lifelong learning as a foundation for human development and peacebuilding. She was the first UNICEF Child Development Regional Adviser in Latin America and the Caribbean and South East Asia.
